A fascinating day out mixing the history of Australia's only Benedictine Abbey with the world renowned mystical Pinnacles Desert and springtime wildflowers.

Our morning journey takes us through historical Guildford and Swan Valley, past Perth's Pearce Air Force Base through the orange growing district of Bindoon to reach fascinating New Norcia. First settled in 1846 as a mission to the regions Aborigine, New Norcia is home to Australia's only Benedictine Abbey. A local guide escorts our drive through town explaining the intriguing history and culture of the community before visiting the local museum housing artifacts and priceless pieces, many being treasured gifts to the monastery from Popes and Royalty of Spain. We also visit a local produce shop for the chance to purchase Benedictine Community goods including olive oil, fruit wine, delicious New Norcia nut cake and fresh breads.

Heading onwards, we arrive at the rock lobster fishing town of Cervantes for lunch (P1 Option), alternatively indulge yourself and order the optional lobster lunch (P1C Option). These highly prized Rock Lobster are caught by local fishermen, primarily for export to Japan.

Afterwards travel into Nambung National Park, home of the mystical Pinnacles Desert. Here your driver guide takes you for an easy paced walk through parts of this fascinating landscape covering some 404 hectares. Ensure you wear comfortable footwear, bring a hat and plenty of film. Before making our return trip to Perth you will visit a local store featuring a range of dried wildflowers. Stops to view spring wildflowers are available from August to December only.

After stopping at Caversham Wildlife Park in the Swan Valley to view koalas and hand feed the kangaroos, travel along quiet back roads, to the lobster fishing town of Cervantes for lunch (P3) or lobster lunch (P3C), in summer, weather permitting, you can enjoy a swim at the beach.

Then its onwards to the mystical Pinnacles Desert for an easy paced walk through the fascinating landscape before giving you the thrilling experience of sandboarding and 4-wheel driving over the vast sand dunes of Lancelin. Return to Perth at approximately 7:30 pm. Wildflower viewing stops are made (Aug - Dec).

Afterwards, feed kangaroos and touch an adorable koala at Caversham Wildlife Park. Next you stop at Charlies Estate Wine and Nougat Boutique and enjoy an extensive wine tasting including cheese and biscuits. Whilst here you can sample the exciting varied flavors of nougat or just browse through their merchandise and gift shop. Return back to Perth via the Burswood Resort and Casino with arrival at approximately 6:00pm.

Next continue to the port city of Fremantle; your driver will provide an informative commentary on this fascinating area and show you all the sights this historic city has to offer.

From here enjoy a brief stop at popular Cottesloe Beach before heading to the highest natural point along the Swan Coastal Plain, giving you an amazing lookout of Perth city and its surrounds. After leaving the Raebold Hill you journey past some beautiful coastline to popular Hillary's Boat Harbor. Re board the boat before sampling more premium wines from the Swan Valley as you cruise back downstream. Arrive at Waters Edge Winery and enjoy a delicious three-course lunch at the riverside restaurant overlooking the Swan River. Your meal is accompanied with relaxing music from our pianist.

On your return cruise to Perth enjoy more complimentary wine tasting and some surprise entertainment that follows!

Known as one of Australia's finest wine regions, the Margaret River Region is also blessed with stunning natural beauty.

Travelling south stop for morning tea (own expense) at Dawesville Channel. You will continue south to the Margaret River Region and visit Xanadu Winery, you have the option to stay here for a restaurant lunch (M3). Alternatively, enjoy a picnic lunch (M1) or lobster lunch (M1C) at Eagles Heritage Raptor Centre before witnessing raptors being handled up close and be in awe at their amazing speed during a free flight display.

You will re-join the group to explore Mammoth Cave and then pass by the stunning Boranup Forest. Afterwards, visit Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse the dividing point between the Southern and Indian Oceans. Take a break at a cafe for a light dinner at the Busselton Jetty (own expense). Return home to Perth, arriving back at approximately 9:30pm.
