The breathtaking flight from Paradise Island starts up over Nassau above the wharf where all the crew ships dock. Enjoy a bird's-eye view of downtown, the Straw Market and the Fish Fry on Arawak Cay. Next is the impressive view around the lighthouse located on the western tip of Paradise Island and some of the exclusive private homes come into view, one being that of Irish actor Richard Harris (Lord of the Rings). The next landmark is the Club Med Resort followed by the Atlantis Resort which dominates the horizon, a magnificent piece of architecture to view from the air.

As you follow the harbor channel eastbound Athol Island can be observed prior to landing at Pearl Island. This is a protected Island under National Park Services of the Bahamas. You may see the protected underwater Sea Gardens in one of the local glass bottom boats. During Colonial days undesirables were exiled to Athol Is land, today it's a protected National park.

Next on the route of flight is Sandy Cay, most photographed Island and recognizable as the island in the opening shot of Gilligan's Island TV series. The tour then takes you westward to Salt Island or better known to many as Blue Lagoon Island. From the air you may observe the Dolphins interacting with the swimmers.

The flight returns along a similar course along the North Shore of Paradise Island. Stuart Cove's Shark Adventure is a 2-tank dive program which introduces thrill seeking divers to wild sharks and provides you a close up look at these magnificent and misunderstood creatures in the stunning waters of the Bahamas!

There are currently four sites where you can dive with the sharks. You will dive either the combination of 'Shark Wall' and 'The Arena' or the combination of 'Shark Wall North' and 'The Runway'. At either location you will encounter a gathering of Caribbean Reef Sharks on a consistent basis.

Your first dive is a 'Free Swim' with the sharks on a magnificent wall. The sharks will follow you throughout the dive because we are close to our feeding site and they know the dinner time is soon. However, no bait is exposed on this dive. This keeps the sharks curious and creates a very natural encounter for divers - just as you would encounter a shark in the wild.

Your second dive is a shark-feeding dive. Unlike ordinary dives - you will spend this dive kneeling on the sand bottom. Divers form a semi-circle in front of our professional shark feeder who will place a bait box on the bottom. Your feeder utilizes the bait box and a pole spear to control the release of food that influences the shark's behavior. While novice shark divers may not notice it - during the shark feeding dives your feeder tries to keep the sharks in a 'polite' feeding posture. However be warned - the sharks will come very close, but they are more interested in the bait instead of you!
