Lagoa do Fogo is situated in the mountains of Barrosa, 1,968 feet (600 meters) above sea level, in an environment area which is for many considered the most beautiful lake of the Azores.
Here you can find volcanic phenomena still in activity, like Caldeiras da Ribeira Grande and the geothermal plant that provide an important part of electricity of the island. The historic center of Ribeira Grande with its churches and Manor Houses are also worth a visit.

| Furnas - Hot Springs and Gorreana Tea Factory |

After leaving Ponta Delgada and crossing the Island to the North in its narrowest part, a comfort stop will be made in Ribeira Grande.
From Ribeira Grande, in any of the Belvederes, the coast will look different, but equally beautiful. Still in the north coast, a visit to a Tea Factory and Tea Plantations. The Azores is the only place in Europe where tea can be grown.
Before lunch, a stop at Pico do Ferro, a belvederein the mountains with the best view of Furnas Valley. The cozido is cooked in the earth, near the Hot Springs for at least 5 hours. You will see it coming out of the ground.
After lunch, a visit to the most beautiful Botanical Park of the Azores: Terra Nostra Park. A visit to the Caldeiras das Furnas, with its famous hot springs, mineral hot and cold waters and small geysers.
The return trip is made using the south coast road, passing by Vila Franca do Campo.

The mountains of Tronqueira that dominate the whole county of Nordeste is where you will find the highest point of the Island, Pico da Vara. It is also the habitat of Priolo, a bird very close to extinction that exists only in Nordeste.

| Sete Cidades - Crate and Lakes |

In the mountains of Sete Cidades there are more lakes than just the twin lakes which are the most famous view of the Azores.
On this tour you will see lakes and Belvederes that are not as well known, and you will go to the village of Sete Cidades inside the crater.
Sete Cidades, where emerald green and sapphire blue are the dominant colors - is the source of the legend of sorrowful princesses, of lost kingdoms. Vista do Rei Belvedere, so-called because it is where King Carlos and Queen Amelia could appreciate Sete Cidades Lake when they visited Sao Miguel in 1901.
Lunch with drinks will be served in a typical Manor House and you will taste dishes based in old recipes that are in the possession of traditional families of the island. A visit to an Organic Farm and an Ethographic Center will take you back to a past that you thought would be only in your imagination.
