St. Michael's Church
This church is situated on the left bank of the river Steyr, opposite "Zwischenbrücken". Built as a Jesuit Church in 1635. To the left, in front of the church: former hospital church with former hospital (Bürgerspital). Endowed by Queen Elisabeth - early 14th century. In the near of christkindl-world.
Court-Yard Castle Lamberg
The Lamberg Castle was first mendtioned as the "Styraburg" in 980, towers above the confluence of the rivers Enns and Steyr. Restored as a baroque castle in 1727 after an extensive town fire. The Schloss Lamberg castle/library owns more than 11,000 books, among them many prints dating back to the 16th century. They are displayed in the Lamberg castle library, one of the biggest private libraries in the country. The library can only be visited on advance booking at the Steyr tourist board or as part of a guided city tour every Saturday or on appointment from mid-May until mid-October. Guided tours for groups up to 15 persons: ATS 150.- / guided city tour and library: ATS 700.- per group, extra charge for foreign languages ATS 100.-

Museum of tiled stoves
From the "history of fire from the fireplace to the stove" there's a smooth transition to an overview of the production of tiled stoves. Found ceramics are displayed as well as stoves in the different styles from the Gothic style up to modern design. Opening hours: Mon - Fri 8am - 6pm, Sat 8am - noon.

Parish Church of Steyr
This church is not only impressing because of its architecture. Famous composers were guests here, such as Anton Bruckner, who often stayed in the neighbouring sacristan house. Franz Schubert was often guest in Steyr. He composed in Steyr the famous "Quintett of the trouts". Last but not least, the St. Margaret's Chapel (late-Gothic) south of the parish-church has a graceful ridge-turret spire.
Steyr municipal museum
The Innerberger Stadel, a two-gable storehouse lavishly decorated with sgraffitto and built between 1611 and 1613, is used as municipal museum today. The exhibitions mainly focus on iron processing. Scythe hammer, nail smithy, a collection of knives and of rifles produced by the Steyrer Industriellen Werndl remind of the former heyday of this town of iron. Ethnological collections, e.g. the "Lambergschen Krippenfiguren". Opening hours: April - October: Tue - Sun 10am - 3pm, November - March: Wed - sun 10am - 3pm, guided tours on advance booking.

This is a real jewel of late-Gothic architecture. Built towards the end of the 15th century. Renovated 1970-1973, preserved in original style. Nickname "Bummerlhaus" derived from the inn-signboard "To the Golden Lion", which resembles a little dog.

Pilgrimage Church of Christkindl
The Christkindl parish and pilgrimage church was built thanks to the good deed of a common man and through the promotion by one of the most important abbots of Garsten. The remarkable baroque building, begun by CA Carlone (1702), was finished by J. Prandtauer. Today world famous for its Christmas-post-office. In christmas time mechanical gribe and Pöttmesser-grib. On Sundays in Advent High Masses in Latin are being held here. Guided tours of the church and Advent concerts complete the cultural pleasures. For many years, exactly since 1950, there has been the opportunity to send Christmas greetings via the Christmas post office A-4411 Christkindl.
