Your first stop is the historical city of Girona. The houses situated at the very edge of the Onyar river and the bridges which span it, are no doubt one of the most authentic and spectacular sights of Girona.

While here, you will visit the impressive Cathedral whose location has been a place of worship since the Roman occupation. It was founded in 1038, however most of the present building dates from the 14th and 15th centuries, therefore it is the result of various superimposed styles; Romantic and Gothic. The interior contains numerous works of art, Gothic tombs and baroque altar paintings. The renowned Tapestry of the Creation (11th Century), The Beatus (10th Century) and a rich collection of medieval gold and silver works are exhibited in the Capitular Museum. The steep narrow street housed the Jewish community of Girona in medieval times.

Explore the Arabian baths, Roman building inspired by the Roman public baths with three rooms, each with a different temperature of water in their swimming pools. In spite of the presence of elements of Muslim origin, the construction corresponds to Romanesque.

After your visit you will continue to Figueres, hometown of Salvador Dali. Lunch is followed by a visit to the Dali Museum, which houses one of the largest collections of Dali's work in the world. The building itself can be considered a work of art.

All day excursion from Costa Brava to discover the Olympic history of Barcelona and what it has to offer for sports enthusiasts. You will visit the F.C. Barcelona Stadium and the Olympic Stadium, symbol of the 1992 Olympic Games and headquarters of R.C.D Espanyol.

Opened on September 24, 1957 F.C. Barcelona Stadium, or Nou Camp, is legendary throughout the football (soccer) world. With a capacity of just under 100,000 people, it is one of the most imposing stadiums for visiting teams to play at.

See the Olympic Stadium which saw the return of South Africa and Cuba to the Olympics, and some record breaking performances by legends such as Carl Lewis and Gail Devers. You will also see the Olympic torch which sits high on the mountain overlooking Barcelona.

In the afternoon there will be time to enjoy shopping in one of the principal shopping centers of the city.

Visit Mijas, the white village of Andalucia. Mijas is a small village situated 1500 feet (460 meters) above sea level. The picturesque village with it's narrow, white washed streets is full of friendly people. Admire the wonderful panorama of Fuengirola, Carvajal and Los Boliches.

Built during the Arab domination, Mijas is home to the only square bullring in Spain.
