Visit the magnificent walled Medieval city of Gerona, originally built by the Romans as a fortress many centuries ago.

Allow yourself to become lost in the alluring labyrinth of narrow streets which still reflect the two centuries of Moorish occupation and there is also an intricate Jewish quarter. Despite the more recent centuries of Christianity there are still many signs of these previous occupants.

On your tour you will visit the impressive Cathedral whose location has been a place of worship since the Roman occupation. The Cathedral was founded in 1038, however most of the present building dates from the 14th and 15th centuries.

After your visit to this beautiful city, continue to Figueres for lunch and visit the whimsical Dali Museum, home to many famous works by Salvador Dali. The building itself can be considered an artwork.

Next you will have some free time at the biggest commercial and cultural center of Barcelona, The Maremagnum. It is located at the port and is the old harbor of Barcelona. For the Olympic Games of 1992 it was partly redeveloped with a modern leisure area with shops, bars, cinemas and the Barcelona Aquarium.

Next you will see the Montjuich Fountains where you can see the show of water, lights and music. Admire this magic fountain when it explodes into a spectacular display of color and music! The Montjuich Fountains or The Magic Fountain is a "must see" for any visit to Barcelona!

After pick up from your Maspalomas hotel you will board the boat and cruise to the southwest coast of Gran Canaria. The boat will anchor at the "perchel" area, Taurito or Tiritana, depending on weather conditions on the day.

The rest of the time is free for you to enjoy the numerous water activities available including a banana boat competition, sea kayaking and a treasure hunt. Perhaps you are feeling more adventurous and would prefer to jump on a jet ski, or go beneath the waves on a scuba dive. It's all up to you!
