Admire what the former capital of Lombok, under the Balinese rajahs, has to offer. Visit Mayura Water Palace, located almost in the center of the city and built in 1744. Take a horse drawn cart (Cidomo) to Getap, see blacksmiths who produce farming needs such as hand plough, horseshoes, and traditional kitchen utensil. Then a stop at the biggest 'supermarket', which is in fact the equivalent of a department store. Final stop will be at the Lombok museum which includes exhibits on geology, history, and culture of Lombok and Sumbawa Island.
