Sanur is a small town on the east side of Bali. The town is due east of Kuta and despite the abundance of restaurants and accommodation, it has a a quieter and more relaxed feel to it.

Denpasar Airport Arrival Transfer Varies

Travel from Denpasar Airport to Kuta, Sanur or Nusa Dua. Transfer services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is a shared vehicle transfer.

Lombok City Private Tour 5 hours

Mayura Water Palace

Admire what the former capital of Lombok, under the Balinese rajahs, has to offer. Visit Mayura Water Palace, located almost in the center of the city and built in 1744. It is the remains of a Balinese royal complex set in an idyllic park with avenue of mangoesteens. The centerpiece of this complex is a 'floating hall' (bale Kambang) used by the king for welcoming very important people and discussing issues of security, prosperity and justice for his people.

Continue on to Sweta market, the largest on Lombok. Wander through its dim alleys you will see stalls spilling over with coffee been, eggs, rice, fish, fabrics, craft, fruit and hard ware, and there is also a bird market. Take a horse drawn cart (Cidomo) to Getap, see blacksmiths who produce farming needs such as hand plough, horseshoes, and traditional kitchen utensil. Then a stop at the biggest 'supermarket', which is in fact the equivalent of a department store. Final stop will be at the Lombok museum which includes exhibits on geology, history, and culture of Lombok and Sumbawa Island.
