A unique opportunity to explore the island of Kefalonia. A photo opportunity at the picturesque ' Myrtos' beach before arriving in Fiscardo, a picture postcard harbor set in a natural bay. Wander around the village to see some Venetian and neo classic pre-earthquake houses. Next stop is Sami, the second largest port of the island and St Efimia where you have the opportunity to stop for lunch and visit the underground lake of Melissani and Drogarati Gave. The ravine of Poros is one of the most beautiful geological phenomena of Kefalonia. This wild and imposing landscape is connected to a strange legend that claims that the hollows in the rocks are the footprints of the huge supernatural feet of the hero Hercules. The original pre-earthquake village of Skala stood on the slopes of the hill to the North-East of the existing village. Many of the remains are still there and it is well worth a walk up the hills. Skala is also known for its long, beautiful and clean, sandy beaches and nearby there are small natural bays with secluded beaches.
