Voorschoten
(population: 22,505 in 2004) is a town in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. It is a smaller town in the Randstad, enclosed by the cities of Leiden and The Hague. The municipality covers an area of 11.59 km² (of which 0.38 km² is covered by water). Recently, plans to merge into one town with Wassenaar have been introduced. The town is important to the international community of The Randstad, because The British School in The Netherlands is located there. External links
