You will follow the coastline from Copenhagen to Elsinore, passing through fashionable resorts and beautiful residential areas. Crossing the narrow strait between Elsinore and Helsingborg, you will get a great opportunity for a fantastic view of Hamlet's Castle - Kronborg - from the
sea. The voyage across the Sound takes approximately 20 minutes.
Once you have arrived in Sweden, drive through the city of Helsingborg, before continuing to Lund. Lund is a university city from the middle ages - founded in 990 by the Danish King Svend Tveforkbeard (986-1014). The city was the religious, cultural and commercial centre of Scandinavia until the Reformation.
