Taroko (Marble) Gorge Tour 10 hours

Taroko Gorge - Eternal Spring Shrine

Taroko Gorge is one of the seven wonders of Asia that no traveler should miss. After a 30-minute flight from Taipei to Hualien, you will be guided along a twelve-mile stretch of highway built into awesome marble cliffs high above the rushing river.

Your route will take you through many marble tunnels including the Swallows Grotto, the Tunnel of Nine Turns and the marble bridge of Motherly Devotion. After lunch at local restaurant, visit Chi Hsing Beach and Hualien Stone Sculptural Park before returning to Taipei late in the afternoon.

Half Day Northern Coast Tour including Yehliu Park 4 hours

Yehliu Park - Queens Head

Your tour guide will take you through rich farming land to the growing industrial area and harbor of Keelung. Nearby is the Cave of the Immortals, a narrow natural cleft in a hill containing Buddhist shrines and sculptures.

Afterwards, proceed to the Northern Coast, famous for the natural formations of wonder rocks, sculptured throughout the ages by wind and sea erosion caused a chemical change hardened the top layer of earth. This top layer protects the layers below from erosion, leaving fascinating pillar formations, including the famous Queen's Head.

Taipei Cultural Tour 4 hours

Lin An Tai Historical House

This tour will bring you to the Lin An Tai Historical House, a 30-room Ching Dynasty-Era family home on Pinchiang street in north Taipei, offers a rare glimpse at life in China's past. Then, proceed to Pao An Temple, which was built more than 230 years ago, making it one of the island's oldest temples.

Further on drive to Dihua Old Street, which is a hub of history offering a window of Taiwan's colorful and quickly vanishing past. The narrow street has scores of shops selling a variety of traditional Chinese goods. The tour will end at Giwado Center to see the performance of 20-minute Chinese Kungfu Show and experience a 20-minute foot massage.
