From your hotel, you will be taken to Maracana Stadium to enjoy the electric atmosphere of a Brazilian Football match. The giant stadium accommodates over 100,000 people and has been host to many championship games over the years, including the World Cup match of 1950 and Pele's last game.

Rio de Janeiro's Championship is played in 2 Cups: Gunabara's Cup and Rio's Cup. The 2 champions of each Cup will play the final in 2 games and become Rio de Janeiro's champion.

Seating is individual, under cover (ticket is included) and your guide is always in attendance. After the game, passengers are returned to their hotels.

This walking tour gives the visitor a feeling for the legends and stories woven around the narrow streets and old historical buildings of downtown Rio de Janeiro.

The walk includes a visit to many interesting points, including the following highlights:

  • Sao Bento Monastery
  • Candelaria (the candle-makers)
  • Praca XV de Novembro, originally a convent built in 1590, and later becoming a place where historic events took place such as the coronation of Brazil's emperors
