The theory session teaches students the basic rules for scuba diving, such as stabilizing ear pressure, breathing on scuba, and how to use the equipment. The dive boat goes to a shallow reef and an instructor will accompany the student at all times underwater. The dive is approximately 30-45 minutes long and goes to a maximum of depth of 40 feet.
