Discover the ancient city of Silves where you will visit the impressive Moorish Castle dating back to the 11th century, and the 12th century Cathedral.

At Foia, the highest point in the Algarve there is some great opportunities to capture magnificent views of the Algarve on film, so don't forget your camera!

Next you will continue to the typical village of Monchique located in a scenic range of rounded hills. In Monchique you will have free time to spend shopping for local handicrafts such as woven baskets, traditional Roman stools, and the famous local cured ham "Presunto de Monchique".

Lagoa do Fogo is situated in the mountains of Barrosa, 1,968 feet (600 meters) above sea level, in an environment area which is for many considered the most beautiful lake of the Azores.

Here you can find volcanic phenomena still in activity, like Caldeiras da Ribeira Grande and the geothermal plant that provide an important part of electricity of the island. The historic center of Ribeira Grande with its churches and Manor Houses are also worth a visit.

Lunch with drinks will be a variety of local dishes, starting with the well known "fervedouro".

The last stop will be at Camara de Lobos a typical fishing village, with its colorful boats, is one of the sights which Winston Churchill had painted from his terrace when he dedicated himself to painting back in the 1950's. While visiting this charming fishing port, enjoy visiting a private wine cellar to tasting of various Madeira wines.
