Portimao
Portimao (actually written Portimão) is the second biggest city in the Algarve, Portugal, and famous for its fresh fish restaurants, grilled sardines being the most famous dish. One of the most well known beaches in the Algarve - Rocha ("Praia da Rocha"), meaning "Rocky Beach" - is very close to Portimao, and there are numerous others nearby.

Lisbon City and Fatima 9 hours

Fatima, Portugal

This morning you will visit many of the major sights of Lisbon. The Coach Museum, Jeronimos Monastery (closed on Mondays, replaced by a visit of Ajuda Palace or the "Fundacao Medeiros e Almeida"), Tower of Belem, Monument to the Discoveries, Alfama, Rossio Square and Marques de Pombal Square.

You will have some free time for lunch, before proceeding to Fatima at around 2:30pm. Visit the Sanctuary Basilica where the tombstones of Jacinta and Francisco are and the Chapel of Apparitions, heart of the shrine. There will be time to attend mass if you wish.

In Aljustrel you will stop and visit the houses where Jacinta, Francisco and Lucia were born. In Valinhos, visit the place where Our Lady of Fatima appeared for the 4th time on 19 August 1917.

At Loca do Anjo, you can visit the place where the children, Francisco, Jacinta e Lucia, got for the 1st and 3rd time, the visit of the Angel in 1916.
