This fascinating tour begins from your hotel where you will be collected by a luxury vehicle and begin your morning in Evora. The capital of the province of Alentejo, Evora houses the ruins of the Roman Temple, the Romanesque Gothic Cathedral, the Bones Chapel and the University.

A walk along the streets means you get to soak up the typical "town" atmosphere now considered World Heritage. Stop for a coffee break (not included) and then continue on for a special visit to the Winery, located on an historic plot where you are able to taste two of the best types of wine by the glass.

This is the inscription over the doorway of the bone chapel at the Nossa Senhora do Carmo, which is your first stop today. Continue to the Old Town and the 13th century Cathedral.

Drive to Olhao, a city built under Arabic rule influences and enjoy a visit to the waterfront markets and take a boat cruise through the Ria Formosa. Here you will see the tidal mill, salt pans and fisherman activities.

There is free time for lunch and visits before a drive to Santa Luzia in the afternoon where you will marvel at this picturesque and unspoiled village, known for its fishing activities.

Visit Tavira and the old castle ruins, see the Santa Maria do Castelo Church and the famous 4th century Roman bridge, before returning to your hotel.

The lush green valleys and mountain of Minho make for a beautiful and educational excursion north of Porto.

Braga also has deep religious roots and you may feel small in comparison to so much beauty. With history dating back 2,000 years, you may like to take a walk around the Historic Center and have lunch (not included in tour cost) at a traditional restaurant.

The second great site visited on your tour is the medieval town of Guimaraes, UNESCO World Heritage listed and the birthplace of the first King of Portugal, D Afonso Henriques.
