The setting for your evening is beautiful Schonbrunn Palace, extended to its present form by Maria Therese in the middle of the 18th century. It was used as a Summer residence by the Imperial family.

Take an audio-guided tour through the magnificent private rooms of the Hapsburgs. This package is in two components - after wandering through the magnificent sights of the palace, there is free time to perhaps enjoy a coffee or dinner (not included) or head back to your hotel to change for the evening concert.

Sample an elegant 3 course dinner at the Restaurant Residenz, located only a few steps from the main entrance of The Orangerie Schonbrunn. During Summer, dinner is served outside in the garden terrace of the restaurant.

After your meal, enjoy a concert in the Orangerie Schonbrunn , located high above the grounds of the Hapsburg Summer residence. Sit back and relax as you are taken back to a time one can now only dream of. In the first part, you will listen to some of the most marvelous overtures, arias and duets from the operas of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. "Le Nozze di Figaro", "Die Zauberflote" and "Don Giovanni" to name a few.

The most popular operetta arias, waltzes and polkas of the "Walzerkoenig" Johann Strauss - from "Die Fledermaus" and "Der Zigeunerbaron" to "Donauwalzer" and the famous "Radetzkymarsch" - comprise the second part. The orchestra is accompanied by two opera singers, a soprano and a baritone, as well as two ballet dancers in authentic costumes.

There's nothing like seeing a European castle before you. All the history, tales and legends are here - right in front of you.

Enjoy a trip up the hillside lift, taking 90 seconds to reach the top, where the castle stands. Built over 850 years ago, the castle sits on a volcanic hill, overlooking the lush vineyards of Southeast Styria.

On arrival you will have a guided tour of the castle, after which you will have a small amount of free time to visit the basement which holds an interesting Witch Exhibition.

Come see the magnificent views of this region and enjoy a sample of the local culinary treats on offer.

There will be a stop at Buschenschank Bernhart where bread with a local ham is served and a glass of wine. You will also have the chance to purchase products such as local wines and juices during the stop.

You begin the evening by driving along the Ringstrasse on our way to the Viennese amusement park, the Prater.

A ride on the Giant Ferris Wheel will give you a marvelous view over the city. Next enjoy being entertained by members of the 1st Grinzinger Heurigenshow - you will hear the most famous Viennese songs and operettas and have the opportunity to dance.

A good evening meal including 1/4 liter of wine together with the unique atmosphere at the wine-tavern and you will certainly need nothing more to set you back into the 19th century.
