This cruise passes mangrove swamps and picturesque fishing villages on the way to the South China Sea. After a short cruise through the open sea, we arrive at Satang Island, one of the three islands set aside by the government for turtle conservation.

First, visit the turtle conservation and hatchery area and learn about the conservation programme. Then proceed to Satang Island?s beautiful white sand beach for snorkeling amidst the wide variety of soft corals, spotting an abundance of colourful marine life. Or an alternatively is to take a stroll through the rugged jungle that covers the island. A packed lunch is included.

Visit Laman Padi, a rice garden for an insight into rice cultivation - the oldest agricultural occupation in Malaysia. Then drive through the villages passing vast padi fields and coconut palms where water buffalos roam freely. Visit a rubber estate for a hands-on experience of rubber tapping.

Next stop is at a local medicine shop to learn about the medical value of some local plants and herbs. Experience afternoon tea at a typical Malay coffee shop where local coffee, ?teh tarik?, curry puffs, spring rolls and banana fritters are served. Before returning to hotel, visit the region?s largest Snake Sanctuary at Kampong Tok Senik.
