Visit the living tropical Nature Theme Park, in the heart of bustling Kuala Lumpur. An educational tour of nature and environment outside the jungle, appreciate the world?s largest Butterfly Park, a kingdom with splendid haven of hundreds of vividly colored, free flying butterflies and other insects.

Within the vicinity is a Bird Park, a Hibiscus Garden and an Orchid Farm which houses over 500 original species and hybrids.

How about having tea in a local home? Enjoy the hospitality of the local Sea Bajau as you visit their water villages. Here in Tuaran, where the sea meets the land is an interesting blend of seafaring and farming communities come together to produce a unique cultural experience.

A visit to a nearby local market highlights the close relationship between them and their farming Kadazandusun neighbors. Please ask the local people for their permission before taking their photo, and only local currency are accepted at the market.

Gunung Gading National Park is a 2 hour drive from Kuching and is Sarawak?s main conservation area for the Rafflesia, the world?s largest flower. They have been known to grow up to one metre in diameter.

The park also offers a number of attractive walking trails, leading through primary rainforest to beautiful jungle waterfalls. Packed lunch is included.

Note : Blooming Rafflesia flowers may be a fair distance from park headquarters, so visitors should be prepared to walk for some time in hot humid conditions.
