Punat
Punat lies on the eastern coast of the bay of Punat on the island of Krk in Croatia. It is well protected against storm, as well as the whole bay of Punat. In the bay of Punat is the well known Marina. In the middle of the bay of Punat there is Franciscan monstery with the etnografic and ssacral museum collection.
Punat is a municipality in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar county in western Croatia. There are 1,876 inhabitants, with 91% Croats. The town first appears in writings from AD 1377, but we do know the exact date of foundation.
