You will be taken to the old port and escorted onto to an authentic Arab Dhow. As the sun sets, you set sail into the harbor and past Fort Jesus. The dark African night sky full of stars, the lapping of waves against the Dhow, truly a romantic setting if ever there was one.

Then as you glide past Fort Jesus you are treated to a sound and light show that is absolutely spectacular. After the show you will make your landing and venture into the Fort for dinner.

A candlelit dinner is served in the open courtyard of the Fort, under the stars. This wonderfully atmospheric night out is the perfect way to end the day, and learn more about the history of Mombasa.

Just 40 kilometers south of Mombasa is Shimba Hills National Reserve and your opportunity to join a game viewing safari. You may spot leopards, elephants, Maasai giraffes, zebras, antelopes, ostriches, warthogs, monkeys and even the occasional lion.

The major attraction of the wildlife population is the rare Sable antelope, found in the same habitats as several large herds of buffalo. Whilst never numerous in Kenya it is thought Shimba Hills is home to the only viable population in existence.

Before your afternoon of game viewing, lunch is served at Shimba Lodge at around midday. The lodge overlooks a water hole often frequented by elephants and occasionally leopards.
