Vor Frue Church

Is the oldest church in the city, dating from the end of the 13th century. A wooden church stood on this site as early as 11th century, being replaced by a church in granite. Next to the church lies Odense´s oldest secular building, built c. 1300. It is now a place where the congregation meets, although formerly it functioned as a grammar school and a mortuary.

The Funen Village

An open-air museum with more than 20 rural buldings from the 18th and 19th centuries. Apart from the proper farmhouse building, there are such buildings as a smithy, a windmill and a watermill, a vicarage, a school and an almhouse. Agriculture and cattleraising are practiced in the village, using old methods. Workshop activities, especially during the summer months.

Grand Tour of Copenhagen 2.5 hours

Witness the changing of the Guard at Amalienborg Palace, Copenhagen

The Grand Tour of Copenhagen covers all the major sights of the Danish Capital. You will pass by the Tivoli Gardens and the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek. Drive through the colorful canal district, past the National Museum to Christiansborg Palace, home to the Danish Parliament.

Continue on to the old Stock Exchange and across Kongens Nytorv, where you will be able to see the Royal Theater, world-famous for its Royal Ballet. This is followed by a drive past the vibrant harbor district of Nyhavn to Amalienborg Palace, winter residence of the Royal Family. Next you will visit the Gefion Fountain and the Little Mermaid, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairytale. Last but not least, pay a visit to one of the many magnificent churches in Copenhagen and pass Rosenborg Castle, where the crown jewels are protected by the Royal Guard.
