Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary 4 hours

Crooked Tree Wildlife Located only 30 miles up the Northern Highway is a Mecca for nature enthusiasts, especially bird lovers. Crooked Tree provides habitat for over 360 species of birds. The majestic Jabiru Stork, largest bird in the western hemisphere with a wingspan of over 10 feet, can be found nesting in these wetlands.

Historic Belize City 3 hours

Historic Belize The old British colonial capital of Belize City is the country's only genuine urban area and is the commercial and cultural center of the country. The city contains both the main seaport and a colorful mix of about one-third of the country's 250,000 residents.

Take this opportunity for a fully guided tour around historic Belize City. You will see many places of interest such as the ancient swing bridge over the Haulover Creek, which is swung open by manpower. Visit the oldest Anglican Cathedral in Central America, St. John's Cathedral, built from bricks used as ballast in sailing ships of old. Directly across the street you will visit Government House, once home to the colonial Governors and now a museum known as the House of Culture.

Manatee Watch and Barrier Reef Snorkel 7 hours

Snorkeling

You will be picked up by a fast speedboat in Belize City and first taken to the nearby Manatee breeding grounds at Swallow Caye. You are almost certain to see one or several of these docile and protected sea mammals.

You will then continue to a small remote island which is perched right on Belize's Great Barrier Reef, a true picture postcard tropical paradise.

Snorkel off the pristine sandy beach with your instructors for that wonderful "Cousteau Experience", or just swim in cool waters, or relax under a palm tree. A beach picnic lunch and refreshments are served. Snorkel equipment included.
