| Corfu Town By Boat |
6 or 8 hours |
|
Sailing from Imerolia your cruise to the picturesque capital of Corfu will take approximately one and a half hours on a large comfortable boat.
The cruise will take you passed the harbor of Kassiopi, along the north east coast, famous for its luxury villas and beautiful scenery. Looking inland across the olive clad slopes, cast the eyes higher to the highest peak of Pantocrator.
Mooring in the old port it is a few minutes walk into the pedestrian center of this historic town. There is a myriad of shops selling some of Corfu's best souvenirs from leather goods and furs to ceramics and leather. The Liston is the place to be seen, smart coffee bars line the street overlooking the old fort, the palace of St Michael and St George and cricket pitch a good place to relax and soak up the atmosphere with a cold beer or perhaps a Corfiot ginger beer!
For those more interested in the sites than shopping, you will not be disappointed. You can enter the Old and New Forts, but don't forget to be respectfully dressed to enter the famous Church of St Spiridon with its tall red campanile. There is a proper fish, fruit and vege market set just outside the walls of the new Fort. (Mornings only).
The British cemetery is a garden full of orchids in spring and the headstones tell the tale the checkered history of Corfu. The Archaeological museum is off Garitsa bay behind the Corfu Palace hotel. You will have three hours to browse before setting sail for your leisurely homeward journey.
On the day you will stop for approximately one hour to swim and cool off in the clear Ionian Sea, and have lunch at the seaside tavern at Kerassia. The pebbly beach is a good spot to try some snorkeling and is a beautiful place on Corfu's well known north east coast with a dramatic mountain backdrop.

| Island Hopping Cruise to Paxos |
8.5 hours |
|
Enjoy the bus drive through charming landscape, into the deep south, past to dreamy villages, which are partly unaffected by tourism and keep their own culture and way of life.
The ship sails from Lefkimmi and arrives in the port of Laka, on Paxos Island approximately 55 minutes later. The ship passes slowly and close to the port Laka for a wonderful view of a typical Mediterranean fishing village.
Sailing further to the mysterious sea caves in the west of Paxos. Here your captain will steer the ship with expertise, as far as possible to have the best chance of taking photographs into the caves, where strange shaped stalactites are formed into past centuries. The ship continues to the small island, Antipaxos.
Your captain will anchor the ship as closest to the white sandy beach as possible, where you will have enough time to swim. If you are not in the mood for a dip, sit back and admire the crystal-clear water, where all shades of blue are hidden.
One hour later you sail with the ship to Gaios, on the island of Paxos where you can stroll through the small town for two and a half hours. You will have enough time to have lunch in one of the many traditional fish taverns (not included in tour cost).
During the return trip in the afternoon, the ship passes by the monastery of the Panagia, which stands completely isolated on a small island.
