Rovaniemi, the capital of Lapland, situated at the Arctic Circle is also known as the home of Santa Claus. It is a perfect place to see the Midnight Sun. During this tour you will experience the land of the everlasting day. In the middle of the summer the sun doesn't set at all.
The trip starts with a flight to Rovaniemi. From the airport you will be transferred to the hotel. In the evening you will enjoy the summer scenery on a cruise on the River Kemijoki in a traditional riverboat. Your guide will prepare you a typical Finnish meal in the middle of the nature.
The Midnight Sun will then be admired from the top of Ounasvaara Hill. While the peace and quiet will en-gulf you, you will toast with a glass of sparkling wine for the magical Lappish white night.
The next day you are welcome to visit the home of a Lappish family and their Workshop. You will also visit a local Reindeer cottage, where you will learn about Lappish culture and reindeer rearing. At the Reindeer cottage you will also participate in a ceremony of crossing the Arctic Circle. Lappish style lunch will be served in there. In the afternoon awaits a visit to the Santa Claus Village, where you meet Mr. Santa Claus himself, and you have a chance to do some shopping. After visiting Santa Claus Village you will have free time to enjoy Rovaniemi on your own. Your flight back to Helsinki departs in the evening.

The town plan from the Middle Ages, the low small houses, picturesque yards and narrow streets form a historically unique wooden town milieu. The symbols of Porvoo, the red warehouses on the riverbanks, tell the story of seafaring and trading. First there will be a guided tour in the home museum of Finnish national poet J.L. Runeberg. After that the tour continues to the old town and the beautiful medieval cathedral. There will be some free time for a cup of coffee and for a walk in the old town with delightful shops and craftsmen's workshops.

| Hike With The Reindeer from Rovaniemi |

After a short drive from Rovaniemi, you will arrive at a reindeer farm where a local herder will take you on a hike in the forest.
The hike begins by choosing the reindeers and preparing them for the trip. Enjoy the surrounds of peaceful Lappish nature at its best as you hike though the forest.
At the end of the hike you will return to the farm to refuel with some delicious pancakes.
