The Granadine Coast boasts a mild climate with a temperature of 18 degrees centigrade, thus enabling the farming of custard apples, papaya, avocado, sugar cane. Motril is an important fishing and commercial port serving the region.

Turning in the direction towards Malaga, you will come across Salobrena, a white town perched on a hill and crowned by an ancient Arab Castle from where the panoramic views of the surrounding fertile plain and beaches can be admired.

Almunecar is the tourist haven along the coast, ancient Sexi of the Phoencians, and boasts important monuments: the Majuelo Park, the Castle of San Miguel and a beautiful old quarter where lunch will be served.

The Caves of Nerja are visited in the afternoon with their extensive grottoes and archaeological remains. The caves are a popular venue for concerts and classical music performances.

Your guide will collect you for your hotel for a day to admire and explore the mesmerizing city of Barcelona. You will be able to visit all of the major sites in a personalized fashion, taking the time to stop for longer at the sites that interest you most.

Some of the most renowned sites of Barcelona include its sublime Cathedral and the ancient winding streets of the Gothic Quarter, full of intrigue. The work of Gaudi comes to life with such awe-inspiring examples as his famous Casa Batllo and Casa Mila. You can visit the Guell Park (also by Gaudi), declared artistic monument and mankind's heritage by the UNESCO.

Admire the "Sagrada Familia" (Holy Family) Cathedral, an unfinished masterpiece of this world-famous architect - it's a temple of Gaudi's most emblematic work, portraying the greatest exponent of his genius, and a symbol of Barcelona all over the world. Also offered is Barcelona's Monumental Bull Ring, Picasso Museum, La Ciutadella and Santa Maria del Mar Church.

The choices are yours, here's some more ideas of places to include on the day: Placa de Catalunya, Via Laietana, the Cathedral and its cloister. Tour by the Gothic Quarter (legacy of the Roman and Medieval periods). Town Hall Palace, Passeig de Colom, Monument of Christopher Colombus, Avinguda Miramar, Montjuich Mountain (enjoying a panoramic view of the city and Port) and the Olympic complex. Entrance to the Poble Espanyol (Spanish Village) which reproduces the most typical regional architectural styles in Spain.

Spend an evening at an old traditional Catalan house, La Masia of Tordera, located near Blanes.

Upon arrival you will be served some snacks and Sangria on the terrace, before moving into the dinner room to enjoy a Catalan dinner. Some tapas, grilled meat and ali oli bread with garlic will be on offer to tantalize the tastebuds.

For dessert you can enjoy Crema Catalana, a type of custard originating in this region of Spain. After dinner, enjoy the shows including "La Tuna" a traditional university group, followed by one of the best flamenco guitar players, and finally a Spanish Ballet.
