Upon your arrival in Hokkaido, travel from New Chitose Airport to your hotel in Sapporo or Niseko with a shared transfer service available from 5:00am to 10:00pm, 7 days a week.

Hokkaido is Japan's northernmost and 2nd largest island offering superb skiing and snowboarding in world class winter resorts such as those in Niseko or Furano, vast national parks, cool temperate summers, historic towns and villages, wonderful food and beer, and interesting festivals such as the famous Sapporo Snow Festival, modern art, wild bears and wildish nightlife.

Start with a bullet train ride to Himeji to visit the Himeji Castle, one of the most famous castles in Japan and designated a World Cultural Heritage site. Its sublime form and white walls have earned it the nickname of "White Heron Castle". The castle grounds are divided into inner and outer-walled zones, with gates built around maze-like spaces to confuse enemies, and a double moat for extra protection.

Lunch on your own at Koko-en Garden, which is a short distance from Himeji Castle. The gardens where opened in 1992 on the former site of of the feudal lords' west residence (Nishi-Oyashiki). They consist of nine separate gardens designed in various garden styles of the Edo period.

Following lunch it's off to the Hakutsuru Sake Brewery. Hakutsuru was founded in 1743 and has come to establish its present "sake" brewing techniques by maintaining old traditions combined with the latest development in new techniques. The museum exhibits the actual process of sake making and its history, then experience a taste test.

Day 1: Tokyo - Mt.Fuji - Hakone
Deluxe motorcoach drive along the expressway to Mt. Fuji. Leave Tokyo for a drive aboard a deluxe motorcoach to Mt. Fuji (3,776 meters or 12,388 feet.)

Fuji Visitor Center:
Nature, culture and artwork concerning Mt.Fuji are on display at the information center. When the center is closed (Monday and certain other days), Peace Pagoda located on the way to Hakone will visit instead. However, if the tour is behind the schedule due to traffic jam, Peace Pagoda may be skipped.

Drive up Mt. Fuji 5th station:
A drive halfway up Mt. Fuji to the Fifth Station (altitude 2,305 meters),enjoying the natural scenery en route.

Lunch at Hotel Highland Resort:
Enjoy western-style lunch at a restaurant. Vegetarian food is available on request.

A cruise on Lake Ashi:
A delightful cruise on Lake Ashi aboard a large sightseeing boat. Let the crisp air and surrounding verdure refresh you.

Mt.Komagatake Aerial Cableway:
Ride an aerial cableway up and down Mt.Komagatake for a sweeping view of celebrated Hakone National Park.

Overnight Accommodation:
Hakone Hotel Kowaki-en: Western style room, famous for its hot spring baths 'Onsen'.
Prince Hakone Hotel: Located on lakeside, western style room, famous for its hot spring baths 'Onsen'.
Yumoto Fujiya - Japanese Style Room.

Day 2: Hakone - Tokyo
Enjoy a whole day at leisure, sightseeing at Hakone on your own.
