By train
Most commuter trains travelling between Helsinki and Riihimäki stop at Kerava. The railway station locates right next to town center. Visit Finnish Rail commuter traffic section for route maps and timetables.

By plane
All international and domestic flights to Helsinki land at the Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport (), 15 kilometers to the south-west of the town. From airport to Kerava, taxi is the easiest choise.

Kerava (IPA: /ˈkerɑʋɑ/; Kervo in Swedish) is a town and municipality in Finland.

It is located in the province of Southern Finland and is part of the Uusimaa region. The municipality has a population of 31,361 (2004-12-31) and covers an area of 30.86 km² of which 0.11 km² is water. The population density is 1,019.87 inhabitants per km².
The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
