Meerufenfushi is one of the uninhabited islands of Kaafu Atoll. It is considered a tourist island, known to some as Meeru.
There is a local island (a local island being an island inhabited by Maldivians) called Diffushi a few hundred yards from the island. Diffushi is not totally open to tourists, but you can visit on prearranged trips.
